The RVC 3D industrial camera is independently developed by Ruben Technology and, when used with the RVC SDK software development kit, can achieve camera control and acquire 3D point cloud data, depth maps, 2D images, and more.
The RVC SDK software development kit includes the RVCManager software and the RVC API interface. RVCManager is a camera management software developed based on the RVC API interface.
The RVC API interface provides relatively comprehensive sample programs to meet the diverse secondary development needs of users.
This manual is mainly divided into the following 4 parts:
– RVC Series 3D Industrial Camera Product Introduction
– RVC Camera Installation Instructions
– RVCManager Software User Manual-
Common problems and solutions

1. Product Introduction
1.1 Introduction to RVC 3D Industrial Camera
The RVC 3D industrial camera uses structured light technology to capture three-dimensional point cloud information of scenes. Through Ruben Technology’s self-developed visual algorithms, it can provide high-quality point clouds for objects of different sizes, colors, and materials under complex lighting conditions.
This manual primarily introduces the RVC P series, I series, and G series products. For more product details, please visit Ruben Technology’s official website at www.rvbust.com.
1.2 Work Environment
(1) The RVC 3D industrial camera is suitable for indoor environments and should operate within a range free of smoke and fast-moving objects.
(2) During shooting, keep the camera and the subject stationary to avoid handheld shooting.
(3) This product is not suitable for shooting transparent objects (such as glass, water surface, etc.) or moving objects.
1.3 Safety Tips
(1) It is strictly forbidden to place flammable, explosive, or other hazardous materials near the camera; do not place the camera near open flames or in high-temperature environments.
(2) Do not use the camera in excessively high or low temperature environments. Operating temperature range of the camera: 0~45 ℃ 2
